NEITHER A SAINT NOR A SATAN.
I find most of the people attribute my writing to my personal life. It should not be the case. A writer writes only for the benefit of society. He may have to add some fiction to his writing to make it interesting and absorbing. Even while writing a biography, some fiction may also be added.
The workings of a writer need not represent his real character. He may be a Satan or Saint. Only his writing should be valued and not his personality. Most of the people think that a great writer is a great man. It is not so. A great man may not know how to write. The worst man may be a good writer.
I write because I love writing. I have a passion for writing. I have a dream to develop into a good writer. Only if I write, I can learn and improve. The beauty of writing is good narration using the proper word, at the correct place, with the apt meaning. This will help the reader to develop on his own in case he is interested.
I do not write to educate others. It is not my business. I just scribble something that comes to my mind. I write in simple language to make it easy for the reader to understand and practice if he is interested. I do not use bombastic words to show off my proficiency. I am a simple person both in writing and in living.
ஸந்யாஸியும் இல்லை சாத்தானும் இல்லை.
பலர் என் எழுத்துகளுடன் என் வாழ்க்கையை சம்பந்தப் படுத்துகிறார்கள். அது சரியில்லை. ஒரு எழுத்தாளர் ஒரு சமூகத்தின் நன்மைக்காக எழுதுகிறார். அது விறுவிறுப்பாக இருக்க பல கதைகளைச் சேர்ப்பார். அவை உண்மை இல்லை.
சுயசரிதையில் கூட பல விஷயங்கள் விறுவிறுப்பை முன்னிட்டு இருக்கும். ஒரு எழுத்தாளரின் எழுத்துக்கள் அவருடைய குணத்தைக் காட்ட வேண்டியதில்லை. அவர் ஒரு ஸந்யாஸியாக அல்லது சாத்தான் ஆக இருக்கலாம். அவருடைய எழுத்துக்களைத்தான் பார்க்க வேண்டும் அவரை அல்ல.
ஒரு சிறந்த எழுத்தாளர் ஒரு சிறந்த மனிதனாக இருப்பார் என்று பலர் நினைக்கிறார்கள். அது தவறு. ஒரு சிறந்த மனிதனுக்கு எழுதத் தெரியாமல் இருக்கலாம். ஒரு மோசமான மனிதனிடம் சிறந்த எழுத்துத் திறமை இருக்கலாம்.
எழுத்து மேல் உள்ள ஆசையால் நான் எழுதுகிறேன். எனக்கு எழுதுவதில் ஆர்வம் உண்டு. எழுதினால் தான், நான் மேலும் நன்றாக எழுத முடியும். கற்றுக் கொள்ளவும், நல்ல தரமாக இருக்கவும் நான் எழுதுகிறேன். சரியான வார்த்தையை, சரியான இடத்தில், சரியான அர்த்தத்தில் உபயோகிப்பதே எழுதுவதன் திறமை.
படிப்பவருக்கு அதே மாதிரி எழுத வேண்டும் என்ற எண்ணத்தை கொடுக்க வேண்டும். பிறருக்குக் கற்றுத் தர நான் எழுதவில்லை. அது என் வேலை இல்லை. என் மனதில் தோன்றியதை நான் கிறுக்கு கிரேன்.
படிப்பவருக்கு சுலபமாகப் புரியவும், எழுதிப் பார்க்கவும் நான் சாதாரணமாக் எழுதுகிறேன். பெரிய பெரிய வார்த்தைகளை உபுயோகித்து என் திறமையைக் காட்டிக் கொள்ள நான் எழுதுவதில்லை. நான் ஒரு சாதாரண மனிதன், எழுத்திலும் சரி, வாழ்க்கையிலும் சரி.
