தனியா 1 + 1/2 டேபிள் ஸ்பூன்,

பெருங்காயம் 1  டேபிள் ஸ்பூன்,

மிளகாய் வத்தல் 10 

தேங்காய் ஒரு மூடி,

வெந்தயம் 1 /2 டி ஸ்பூன் ,

கறிவேப்பிலை 

பட்டை 1 , லவங்கம் 4 

தேவையான காய்கறிகள் [நான் சேர்ப்பதில்லை]

1 . முதலில் அரிசி, து.பருப்பு இரண்டையும் கலந்து, நன்கு களைந்து, குக்கரில் குழைய வேக வைக்கவும்.

2 . பிறகு ஒரு கடாயில், ஒரு தேக்கரண்டி தேங்காய் எண்ணை அல்லது நல்ல எண்ணை விட்டு, எண்ணை காய்ந்ததும், கடுகு போட்டு அது வெடித்ததும், வெந்தயம், பெருங்காயம், பட்டை, லவங்கம்,க.பருப்பு, தனியா,மி.வத்தல், முதலியவற்றை போட்டு, சிவக்க வறுக்கவும். அது ஆறினவுடன் [ தண்ணீர் விடாமல் ] நைசாக மிக்ஸியில் அரைக்கவும்.

3 . பிறகு அடுப்பில் ஒரு கெட்டியான பாத்திரத்தை வைத்து அதில் தேவைக்கேற்ப புளிக்கரைசலை விடவும். அதில் உப்பு, மஞ்சள் பொடி, போட்டு கொதிக்க விடவும். அடுப்பை சிம்மில் வைக்கவும். பிறகு அரைத்த பொடியை போட்டு நன்கு கொதிக்க விடவும். சிறிது கெட்டியானதும் இறக்கி விடவும்.

4 . பிறகு சாதத்தை நன்கு மசித்து, அதில் போட்டு நன்கு கிளறவும்.பிறகு ஒரு கரண்டி நெய், ஒண்ணறை கரண்டி நல்ல எண்ணையை, லேசாக சுட்டவுடன், சாதத்தில் கொட்டிக் கிளறவும். பிறகு கடாயில் சிறிது தேங்காய் எண்ணையை  காய வைத்து தேங்காய் துருவலை சிவக்க வறுத்து சாதத்தில் கொட்டி கறிவேப்பிலை போட்டு கிளறிவிடவும்.
