WHO IS SMARTER ?
A Tamil proverb goes like this. "Give the work to the hard-working and the pay to the idler" It is believed that the smart will get all the accolades and go up in the ladder. But in reality, people will load him with more work without giving any incentive and make him repent. There are two types of people.
The workaholic, does bull work in his office, quietly returns home,, removes the shoes and socks, keeps it in its place, takes a towel, goes to the restroom, washes his face and limbs, comes to the dining, takes the coffee kept ready for him, sits on the sofa and talks passionately with his wife about the day. He then starts helping his wife in the domestic chores
.
The other one does no work in his office, always gossiping and visiting canteen, returns home. At the street corner, loosens his tie disturbs his hairstyle, unbutton and rolls up one of his shirt sleeves, enters home posing tired, throws the shoes and socks and lies on the sofa stretched. His wife brings coffee, applies Wicks on his forehead and he retires to his bed until dinner is ready.
Now tell me, who is smarter of the two?

பழமொழி என்ன சொல்கிறது? வேலை செய்பவனுக்கு வேலையைக் கொடு, வேலை செய்யாதவனுக்கு சம்பளத்தைக் கொடு. வேலையை நன்கு செய்பவன் பல வெற்றிகள் பெறுவான் வாழ்க்கையில் முன்னேறுவான் என்று நாம் நினைக்கிறோம். உண்மை அதுவல்ல. வேலை செய்பவனுக்கு அதிக வேலை தான் கிடைக்கும். புகழோ பாராட்டோ இல்லை. நீங்கள் இரண்டு விதமான நபர்களை பார்க்கலாம்.
நன்கு வேலை செய்பவன், வேலை முடிந்த பிறகு வீடு திரும்புகிறான். அமைதியாக வீட்டின் உள்ளே நுழைந்து, மிதியடியை கழற்றி, அதன் இடத்தில் வைத்து விட்டு, குளியல் அறை சென்று, முகம் கை கால் கழுவி, சாப்பாட்டு மேஜையில் மனைவி அன்புடன் வைத்திருக்கும் காப்பியைப் பருகி விட்டு, சோபாவில் அமர்ந்து, அன்று நடந்தது பற்றி மனைவியிடம் அன்புடன் பேசுகிறான். பிறகு மனைவிக்கு வீட்டு வேலையில் உதவிகள் செய்கிறான்.
அலுவலகத்தில் வேலையே செய்யாத இன்னொருவன், எப்பொழுதும் வம்பு பேசிக்கொண்டு, சிற்றுண்டி சாலையில் பொழுதை ஒட்டி விட்டு, வீடு திரும்புகிறான். தெரு முனையில், டையை தளர்த்தி விட்டு, சட்டையில் மேல் பித்தானை கழற்றி விட்டு, சட்டை கையை மடித்து விட்டு கொண்டு, தலை முடியை சிறிது கலைத்து விட்டுக் கொண்டு, மிகவும் களைத்தது போல் வீட்டிற்குள் நுழைவான்.
உள்ளே நுழைந்தவுடன், மிதியடியை தூக்கி எறிந்து, சோபாவில் காலை நீட்டிப் படுத்து விடுவான். மனைவி தரும் காப்பியை குடித்து விட்டு, அவள் தலைவலித் தைலம் நெற்றியில் தடவ படுக்கை அறையில் போய் படுக்கையில் விழுந்து இரவு சாப்பிடும் வரை வெளியே வரமாட்டான்.
