Ramayana and Mahabharat are our epics. It is about Lord Vishnu's incarnation to destroy the evil and to protect humanity. Ramayana is about greed for a woman. Lord Rama is the avatar. Mahabharat is about greed for the property. Lord Krishna is the avatar. Apart from Rama and Krishna, I like the following characters for their unique quality. They are Bharatha, Anjaneya, Vibhishana, Bhishma, Yudishtra, Karna and Vidhura.
1. BHARATHA was a true brother. He had devoted love. Though he had the opportunity to rule the country, he did not accept it and ruled it on behalf of Sri Rama until his return.
2. ANJANEYA was a true disciple. He carried Sri Rama in his heart. He was loved by Sri Sita. He is the epitome of humility.
3. VIBISHANA also became a true disciple of the Lord, though he belonged to the enemy side. He advised his brother all the good things but he did not listen.
4. BHISHMA not only relinquished his right to the throne but also wowed to remain unmarried throughout his life simply for the happiness of his father. This was an impossible act.
5. YUDISHTRA for his righteousness, truthfulness, wisdom and his balanced mind in adversities. He was loved and respected by his younger brothers who always stood by his side.
6. KARNA, though he belonged to the Kourava camp, was loved even by his adversaries for his charity. He was sincere to Duryodhana, the bad man, for the support extended to him.
7. VIDHURA, the younger brother of Drutharashtra the blind ling. Vidura was intelligent and advised his brother whenever he supported his son for his wrongdoings due to love... Lord Krishna stayed only with Vidhura whenever he visited Hasthinapur. This speaks volumes about his quality. MAY GOD BLESS YOU.
