Random thoughts 1791 to 1805.

1791. Both cannot and can not are perfectly fine, but cannot is far more common and is therefore recommended.


1792. It is not necessary to take the parent’s advice just to make them happy. All we have to do is to blindly follow them.


1793. When the son becomes a father, his father becomes a grandfather. The son can never match his father in any aspects.


1794. The best way to console oneself between hope and loss of hope is to have a pleasant sleep.


1795. Ideals are like shining stars; whatever way you try, you will not succeed in touching them.


1796. No one who is in a hurry is quite successful in life. Be patient to achieve.


1797. Nobody ever can see his own face in the glass. What he observes there, is a chemical compound.


1798. Vengeance is not valour. But forgiveness is real valour.


1799. Compulsory exercise does not harm the body; but compulsory learning does not stay on the mind.


1800. Wealth is the parent of luxury and laziness, and poverty is that of unkindness and violence.


1801. The quality of a person is determined by what he does when he has power.


1802. What is the food of the soul? Surely, knowledge is the food for the soul.


1803. Always speaking the truth is the beginning of making the Gods happy, and also that of mankind.


1804. Knowledge without justice ought to be called cunning (clever in a dishonest way) rather than wisdom.


1805. All human beings are by nature equal, made of the same bone, flesh and blood created by God but only attitude makes the difference.
