OPEN HEART
I have been reading most of the posts on FaceBook. Though I am not interested in politics, religion, caste and cinema gossips, to my dismay, I find many people write their views without even substantiating their stand which makes the reader believe whatever they write is true.
Religious hatred is found everywhere. Without trying to unite the religions, hatred is sown. Caste animosity is the main agenda. Even for the ordinary post, communal colour is given with personal attack and derogatory remarks. Bad and indecent words are used.
I am really concerned about this. When are we going to realize our responsibility to our family and nation? When are we going to strive for unity, friendship, and communal harmony? When are we going to be good citizens of a great nation respected for its cultural values?
Where our cherished principles like duty, dignity, discipline, peace, patience, equality, friendship, brotherhood, forget and forgive, and Godliness have gone? Please pardon me if I am wrong. Thank you. Goodbye.
மனம் திறந்து
எனக்கு அரசியல், மதம், ஜாதி, சினிமா ஆகிய பதிவுகளில் விருப்பம் இல்லை என்றாலும் முகநூலில் எல்லாப் பதிவுகளையும் நான் படிக்கிறேன். யார் வேண்டுமானாலும், அரசியலில் எதைப் பற்றி வேண்டுமானாலும் எந்தவித சாட்சியமும் இல்லாமல் எழுதுகிறார்கள். அதை மற்றவர்களும் நம்புகிறார்கள். இது மிகவும் மனவேதனை அளிக்கிறது.
எல்லா இடங்களிலும் மதத் துவேஷம் காணப் படுகிறது. எம்மதமும் சம்மதம் என்று இல்லாமல் வெறுப்பு விதைக்கப் படுகிறது. ஜாதி வேறுபாடு முக்கியமான விஷயமாக இருக்கிறது. சாதாரண பதிவுக்குக் கூட ஜாதி வர்ணம் கொடுக்கப் பட்டு தனிப்பட்ட, மரியாதை இல்லாத விமர்சனம் தரப் படுகிறது. சினிமாவைப் பற்றி தரக் குறைவான விமர்சனங்கள் எழுதப் படுகின்றன.
எனக்கு மிகக் கவலையாக இருக்கிறது. வீட்டுக்கும், நாட்டுக்கும் நமக்கு உள்ள பொறுப்பை நாம் எப்பொழுது உணரப் போகிறோம்? நாம் எப்பொழுது எல்லோருடைய ஒற்றுமைக்காகவும், நட்புக்காகவும், ஜாதி, மதத் துவேஷம் இல்லாமல், கலாசாரத்தில் மிகச் சிறந்த இந்த நாட்டின் தவப் புதல்வர்களாய் மாறுவோம்?
நமது உயரிய கொள்கைகலான கடமை, கண்ணியம், கட்டுப்பாடு, அமைதி, பொறுமை, சமாதானம், சமத்துவம், சகோதரத்துவம், மறப்போம், மன்னிப்போம், இறை உணர்வு எல்லாம் எங்கே போயின? தவறு இருந்தால் மன்னிக்கவும். நன்றி வணக்கம்.

மனம் திறந்து
