Why do you need a bath soap?

Which body soap is best in India?

First of all why do you need a body soap at all?

Trust me, the human body has a very intelligent mechanism. It can heal it self, it can purify itself. It doesn't need any external sources for cleansing or purification.

Soaps contain harmful chemicals such as SLS (Sodium laureth sulfate, an accepted contraction of sodium lauryl ether sulfate, is an anionic detergent and surfactant found in many personal care products. SLES is an inexpensive and very effective foaming agent).

SLS is a "moderate hazard" that has been linked to cancer, neurotoxicity, organ toxicity, skin irritation and endocrine disruption.

These chemicals are used to produce lather and bubbles in soap. Some common sulfates are SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate) and SLES (sodium laureth sulfate). Sulfates strip the skin of its natural oils and increase penetration of the skin's surface. They are also irritants for people with sensitive skin or eczema.

Chemicals in common soaps are no joke. They can disrupt our hormones, promote allergies, lead to reproductive issues and increase risk of some cancers. With serious side effects like these, we need to be particular about what we put on our skin.

Soaps contain Parabens that are estrogen mimickers—meaning that once applied to the skin, they enter the bloodstream, and the body mistakes them for estrogen. When the body thinks there is an abnormally high amount of estrogen present in the bloodstream due to the presence of these hormone disrupters, it reacts in various ways: decreasing muscle mass, increasing fat deposits, causing early onset of puberty and spurring reproductive difficulties in both men and women.

If we are washing our bodies with soap that contains harmful ingredients every single day, this adds up over a lifetime to wreak havoc on our health.

With minimal government testing on these chemicals, it is up to us, to make decisions as to what does and doesn’t go on our skin.

Hence, shun the soap and use plain water. Yes, just plain water should be fine. Our body secretes essential oils naturally to nourish the skin. What we do is just use soap and wash away these protective oils this making the skin dry.

Once the skin is dry we use moisturizer to moisten our skin, Doesn't this sound absurd?

With too many ads around us we have become intellectual fools and believe in what ever that is advertised. The corporate companies that produce such harmful products are getting richer and richer by diminishing the human health thereby cause of all miseries.

If you still feel you need soap then have lots and lots of pulpy fruits like Papaya, Mango, Banana, Chikkoo and instead of simply throwing away those peels you just grind the peels to a fine consistent paste and apply to your body/hair and leave it for 10 mins and then rinse with water.

Now to answer the above question as to which soap is the best in India. My answer is not on India but anywhere in the world. No soap is better. They aren't suitable for the skin. They are manufactured for the heck of manufacturing.

Listen to your body. Be responsible Be natural.
