RANDOM THOUGHTS 301 TO 315

301. Before doing a job, the last generation thought about negative results first. This generation thinks about positive results first.

302. As the tax to the Govt. has to go through the tax collector, our offerings to Lord have also to go through the functional deities.

303. I find people glorify their parents and bring out their problems. Nobody bothers about the children and their problems. Is it fair?

304. Suppose our child sets fire to our house innocently, we do not punish it  Similarly, all those who cause pain are like this child.

305. The first feeling a man gets on seeing a beautiful woman shows his character. If it is good, he keeps silent. If it is bad, he barks.

306. Scriptures are for our guidance. We should not twist them to suit our views. We should understand and follow with faith and devotion.

307. The beauty of a healthy debate lies in gracefully accepting the views of the other. It is not in insisting on one's own views.

308. A husband should care for his wife. There is nothing wrong and it is in order. But he should not leave his parents without caring.

309. A parent can become a mentor, a guru can become a mentor, a boss can become a mentor. Tom, Dick, and Harry cannot become a mentor.

310. Hunger is like a disease. As we take medicine to the prescribed dosage, food too should be eaten as a cure for the disease of hunger.

311. To get a good husband, a woman must be fortunate. If her husband remains a good father to their children, she is doubly fortunate.

312. We should try to control our mind. Once we succeed, we do not need anything else. There is complete independence we need to attain.

313. The night moves faster when we are asleep. But the day moves slower when we are awake. You know why? The mind is at rest at night.

314. Everything in this universe is the work of that 'Great Thief'. He is in hiding. Vedas say that He is hiding inside our heart.

315. Just as a thief leaves footsteps to track him down, the Lord, who steals our heart, also leaves his footsteps all over the universe.
