10%. SHARE.

A very rich man asked a beggar on the side of the road.. "Why are you begging when you are healthy...?" 

The beggar replied.. "I have no work for months.. If you give me a job, I will stop begging from now on." 

The rich man smiled and said.. "I cannot give you a job.. But I have something better. Why don't you become my business partner..." 

The beggar could not believe what he said.. "What are you saying, is this possible...?" 

“Yes I have a rice mill. You supply rice to the market and whatever profit we make, we will share it at the end of the month.." 

Tears of joy rolled down the eyes of the beggar.. "You have come to me like an angel from heaven, how can I thank you enough.." 

Then the beggar asked .. "How will we share the profit..? Will I take 20% and you 80%.. Or will I take 10% and you 90%.. Whatever it is... I am ready and very happy..." 

The rich man lovingly placed his hand on his head.. "I want only 10% of the profit, the rest 90% is yours.. So that you can progress.." 

The beggar fell on his knees.. and said crying... "I will do as you say... I am very grateful to you.... And from the next day the beggar started working..

With his hard work, very soon his sales increased. He started making progress every day… and then the day came when the profits are to be shared.

And even that 10% seemed like a lot for the beggar. He had never imagined that much. Suddenly a devilish thought came to his mind… “I have worked hard all day and night… and that rich man did not do anything… except giving me an opportunity… why should I give him this 10%… he does not deserve it at all… 

And then the rich man came to collect his share of 10% in the profit.  The beggar informed “There are some accounts still pending, I have incurred a loss, I have to pay off loans from people, and he started avoiding giving the share to the rich man.” 

The rich man said “I know how much profit you have made, then why are you avoiding giving me my share?” The beggar immediately replied "You are not entitled to this profit..because I have done all the hard work..."

Now think... if we were that rich man and heard such an answer from the beggar... then... what would we have done?

Similarly... God gave us life, hands, legs, eyes, ears, brain, understanding... tongue to speak... emotions... "We should remember that God has the right to 10% of our time. We should happily give it to him by chanting God's name... and... should thank God who gave us life and happiness.
