Random thoughts 1716 to 1730.

1716. A fine is a tax for doing a wrong thing. A tax is a fine for doing the right thing.

1717. Two things are important : 1. Our patience when we have nothing and 2. Our attitude when we have everything.

1718. We do things that make us happy. We need not get approval from others. To do things that make others happy is a different thing.

1719. We dream enough about tomorrow but we are left with nothing but empty yesterday. We should love to make today worth remembering.

1720. 1. Nothing can stop one with the right attitude from achieving his goal. 2. Nothing can help one to achieve his goals with the wrong attitude.

1721. We should always look in the direction of the bright sun so that we don’t see our dark shadow falling behind us.

1722. A positive attitude may not solve all our problems but that is the only way we can get out of our problems.

1723. The sun himself is weak when he first rises, and he gathers momentum, strength and courage as the day gets on.

1724. Do not confuse yourself in taking the right decision. Take a decision and make it work right for you.

1725. The word “rise” means to get up or go to a higher position. The word “raise” means to elevate something to a higher level/position.

1726. Smiling helps reduce anxiety and lower heart rate in tense situations. The facial muscles relax and this tricks the brain to believe we are happy.

1727. Hero worshiping is inborn with us. A hero is admired for courage, achievements, noble qualities and free from vices in real life.

1728. Do you know there is pressure in the eyes similar to blood pressure? It is called intraocular pressure. Normal eye pressure ranges from 10 mm Hg and 21 mm Hg.

1729. Teaching is not only imparting knowledge but also an art that disciplines students and tells them their strengths and weaknesses.

1730. What is down in the well only can come up in the bucket. Be positive. The mind is so powerful. Fill it with positive thoughts.
