1. When it is a baby, we teach how to swim. When it is a child, we teach how to walk. When it goes to school, we teach about education. When it is an adolescent, we teach about health. When it is married, we teach how to lead a happy life. In bringing up the children, we should always use the carrots and not the stick. The job of the parents is then completed. We should leave the children to live their life. We cannot carry the person on our shoulders indefinitely. How much the person loves you or hates you is the result of 28 years of upbringing.
2. Irrespective of the age, a child is a child for the parents. Right from birth, they long for the welfare and happiness of their children. Of course, there comes a time when the children take care of their parents. Even then, the parents continue to worry about the happiness of their children. This is a natural phenomenon.
3. The starting salary of the present-day children is in multiples of the salary of their retiring father. Hence, their mother adores the children and ignores the father. Due to this, the children become assertive, authoritative, and aggressive. The father gets vexed. The lion becomes a lamb, the king a pauper, and the boss a servant. That is how life goes now. Beware if you are a father and your children are finishing their studies.
4. Unless the parents know the financial position and the future security of their children, how can they enjoy their care? How can they allow them to spend for them? At least, the children’s lifestyle should indicate that they are well secured. Most of the children fail to make their parents aware of their financial stability and security so that both of them are happy and peaceful.
