436. I am writing some details about the US for the information of my dear friends who have not visited the US. Please do not get bored.
437. Comparing summer in India and winter in the US, I would say, winter in the US is severe and unbearable. I pity the poor in the US.
438. In the US, if smoke emanates from the kitchen due to frying, immediately the fire alarm goes on and the fire service will arrive.
439. In US,it gets dark by 5 pm instead of 6 pm.The clock is turned back by one hour so that people go to work by 8 am instead of 9 am.
440. In India, streets are swept by the broom. In the US, air blowers mounted on the shoulders heap the debris and a machine suck them.
441. In the US, during FALL[Autumn] an enormous quantity of leaves is shed by trees that make life difficult for workers to clean them.
442. During FALL, the leaves change into wonderful colours say,white,orange,pink,yellow,maroon,violet,red etc, and fall to the ground.
443. Due to changes in daylight and temperature, the leaves stop producing chlorophyll during FALL. So other beautiful colors appear.
444. Pigments cause colour to the leaves. chlorophyl causes green. Carotenoids yellow and orange. Anthocyanins red, pink, or purple.
445. The other side of the river is always green.A short visit to the US is enjoyable.Only a long stay will help you understand people.
446. When Indians visit the US, while buying, they convert to the rupee equivalent and find the prices high. Then they do not buy it.
447. The price of a 2A battery costs about Rs.12 in India. In the US Walmart, it is $1.50[Rs.100] each with a minimum of 4 per set.OMG.
448. When I compare the prices in the US and India, excepting a few, all items are cheaper in India. I buy only items costly in India.
449. I think the majority of the Indians living in the US wish to come back to India. But everyone has his own reason not to come back.
