 1281. Do not train a child to learn by force or harsh methods; but teach them by what amuses their minds, so that you may discover the genius in them.

1282. The untrained mind keeps judging everything. Just ignore. Deprived of attention and interest, it gets quieter and quieter and shuts up.

1283. When two friends are in the mood to chat, they have to talk in a gentler and logical way to discuss ideas and opinions.

1284. A pessimist is one who sees difficulties in opportunities; an optimist is one who sees opportunities in difficulties.

1285. Knowledge becomes meaningless if the aim in life is not virtuous.

1286. Friendship is so sweet, steady, loyal and enduring through a lifetime, if not asked to lend money.

1287. Thinking is the hardest work, which is probably the reason why a few do not engage in it.

1288. We can say we are young only once. After that, we will have to think about some other excuse.
